Home is where the Hobbyists

This blog is for all the hobbyists and their various and beautiful messes! Whether its painting, crocheting, sewing, candlestick making or just the love of a good DIY we understand what it’s like to lose yourself (and maybe even your sanity) in a great project. For many hobbyists, it is not simply about the end result but the joy we get from the initial idea, planning (obsessing in my case), craft store trips and absolute chaos that is the project itself. Sometimes we end up with a better result than we imagined and sometimes its a learning opportunity. The only guarantee, at least in my house, is that there will always be a HUGE MESS! I remember Jordan and I once decorated my parent’s downstairs with tiny foam flakes while making mobile tentacles… that was not a fun clean up! But hey, the mess is half the fun. In this blog, we promise to share our favorite hacks, snacks, tips, techniques, flaws, fails and funniest moments as hobbyists in hopes to form a bright, beautiful, supportive community of hobby lovers everywhere!
